To prepare for the CAPET and CAFEP exams in junior high schools and general and technological high schools, and the CAPLP
exams in industrial techniques in vocational high schools, and to become a teacher in the fields of engineering sciences and industrial techniques. Faculty of Education / INSPÉ.

Objectives
The first provides a solid grounding in the technical fields required for the analysis of complex technical systems.
It also involves learning to mobilize several of these fields, such as mechanics,
electronics, electrical engineering, robotics, IT and architecture, to understand the various functions and design choices of technical systems.
The aim is not necessarily to specialize in all these fields, but rather to develop a multi-referential approach, with the necessary cultural backgrounds and foundations to allow for any in-depth studies generated by the specific technical characteristics of the systems themselves.
The second objective is to prepare for the transmission of this knowledge, know-how,
operating principles, reasoning and analysis methodologies to middle school, high school, technical college students and/or adult trainees.
Pedagogical contributions and the different didactics of middle school, high school,
vocational high school and in-company training, whether continuing or initial, are therefore strongly present in the teaching.
A first approach to training secondary school teachers in the teaching of industrial engineering sciences and industrial techniques is therefore planned to prepare for the teaching of technology in junior high schools, engineering sciences in general and technological high schools, STI2D and industrial techniques in vocational high schools.
The third objective is to prepare students for entry into the Master 1 course in Industrial Engineering Sciences for middle and high schools and Industrial Science and Techniques for vocational high schools, part of the MEEF (Métiers de l'enseignment de l'éducation et de la formation) Master's program at the University of Montpellier's Faculty of Education.
This course prepares students for two types of competitive examination: the one and only "Industrial Engineering Sciences" CAPET for middle and high school teachers, and the various CAPLPs in the
fields of industrial techniques for vocational high schools.
