Description
This course trains students in microbial identification and water analysis, focusing on four areas:
- The microbial world: bacteria, cyanobacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, viruses.
- Microbial metabolism: metabolic types, nutrition, environmental influence.
- Microbial ecology of the natural environment: interactions between microorganisms and their environments.
- Microbiological control of water: principles, regulations, techniques
