Description

This course deals with the management of solid wastes and by-products, whether they come from the industrial environment or from communities. The course outline is as follows:

  1. Collection and characterization of waste
  2. Treatment strategy
  3. Recycling and recovery
  4. Landfill
  5. Heat treatments
  6. Biological treatments (methanization, composting)
  7. Radioactive waste management
