Extensive effluent treatment processes

This course aims at presenting the extensive wastewater treatment systems (lagooning, reed filters, etc.). The Vegetated Discharge Zone will also be discussed.

This course will provide the tools to design extensive treatment systems.

Upon completion of this UE students will be able to:

-Propose extensive treatment solutions for small wastewater treatment plants

-Dimensioning of the dies and processes

-Define what a VRZ is and what its value is as a treatment option
