Description

This course trains students in microbial identification and water analysis and is structured around 4 axes:

  • The microbial world: bacteria, cyanobacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, viruses.
  • Microbial metabolism: metabolic types, nutrition, influence of the environment.
  • Microbial ecology of the natural environment: interactions of microorganisms with their environments.
  • Microbiological control of water: principles, regulations, techniques
