Description
This course trains students in microbial identification and water analysis, focusing on 4 areas:
- The microbial world: bacteria, cyanobacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, viruses.
- Microbial metabolism: metabolic types, nutrition, environmental influences.
- Microbial ecology of the natural environment: interactions between microorganisms and their environment.
- Microbiological control of water: principles, regulations, techniques
