Description

The areas covered are :

- Sources and consequences of chemical pollution of natural waters.

- Chemical evaluation criteria for pollutants: COD, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, Kjedahl nitrogen, total phosphorus....

- Chemical treatment (chemical oxidation, coagulation, flocculation) and physico-chemical treatment (membranes, activated carbons, etc.),

- Specific treatments: ion exchange resins, solvent extraction, electrochemical methods.
