Description

Practical work in various fields of physics.

The topics covered include the study of mechanical oscillating systems (simple pendulum, torsion pendulum, coupled pendulums), acoustic waves, some concepts of wave optics (diffraction and interference), the practical application of electronic circuits for the study of electrical components or systems (diodes, LEDs and photodiodes, transmission lines), and the study of some properties of matter (magnetism, photoelectric effect, Faraday effect).

Objectives

These practical exercises are designed to develop experimental skills in the field of physics through data acquisition, formatting, and, above all, analysis.

The aim is to learn how to interpret experimental results and make the connection between experimentation and the theoretical concepts covered in other courses in the program.

The variety of subjects offered allows students to learn about various measuring instruments and acquire the basics of experimental physics for further study at the master's level.
