Description
This project allows the students, coming from different initial trainings, to apply the theoretical and/or technological notions seen before and in the other modules of the training, within the framework of the study of a proposed mechanical system or of their choice (after validation).
Objectives
- Mobilize the skills acquired in the various fields of mechanics and/or mechanical technology,
- Make an effort in writing and oral presentation,
- Put in situation a mechanical system and situate it within equivalent solutions (state of the art),
- Produce a technical file (overall plan and definition drawings, technical characteristics, assembly graph, dimensioning),
- Establish the functional analysis of the system (diagram of interactors, characterization of functions and interactors, FAST),
- Verify the dimensioning of standard components, dimension a specific part and/or optimize/verify the choice of material for a part,
- Measure mechanical properties of the system (input-output law in speed or force) or of a part of the system (mechanical resistance, rigidity, etc.)
Necessary pre-requisites
- Kinematics, statics and dynamics of the rigid solid,
- L2 technological courses (technical communication, introduction to mechanical design, CAD and simulation of mechanical systems)
Recommended prerequisites*:
- Behavior of materials and simple structures
Knowledge control
Oral
