Introduction to teaching

• To allow students to discover the teaching profession and to learn about the didactics of mathematics
•  To address some major themes in mathematics didactics using practical examples.

• Begin a change in posture on the issue of teaching mathematics and learn to ask questions related to teaching.
• Adopt a reflective posture when faced with issues related to teaching mathematics in secondary schools
• Take a step back from the mathematical content taught in secondary schools

The UE is organized around an observation internship of at least 18 hours in a mathematics class in a secondary school, over 6 weeks;

•  Introduction to the didactics of mathematics
• Classroom observation: student activity and teacher practice in mathematics
• Observation of the life of an institution
• Writing an internship report
