Description
Introduction to solid-state physics and semiconductor materials, providing an understanding of the physical mechanisms at play in electronic components. In particular, the course will cover all the concepts needed to explain the electrical characteristics of a PN junction.
Objectives
Acquire the basics of device physics to be able to tackle the study of submicron components in the Master's program.
