Overview
Objectives
To train advanced technicians and engineering assistants with versatile skills in the fields of human health and well-being, animal health, biotechnology, the agri-food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and biotechnology sectors, as well as institutional food service; or to pursue a career as a dietitian.
Expertise and Skills
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:
> Food Science and Biotechnology:
- Promoting Quality.
- Organize the production of food and biomolecules.
- Innovation in Food Science and Biotechnology.
> Dietetics and Nutrition:
- Develop a balanced, healthy, and sustainable diet.
- Provide dietary care and educate both healthy and sick individuals.
- Conduct analyses and experiments in the field of biology.
> Medical Biology and Biotechnology:
- Enter the healthcare sector (laboratories and medical testing facilities, public and private R&D organizations, and the pharmaceutical, drug, and cosmetics industries).
- Acquire the skills needed to apply modern techniques used in conducting laboratory experiments and developing innovative projects in the field of health biotechnology.
