Objectives
The Biological Engineering B.U.T. in Dietetics and Nutrition trains experts in the fields of nutrition and food. Dietitian nutritionists provide nutritional advice and participate in the nutritional education and rehabilitation of patients with metabolic or eating disorders. They contribute to the definition, evaluation and quality control of food served in the community, as well as to public health prevention activities. They may be employed or self-employed.

- Carry out individual or group dietetic care.
- Designing an adapted, healthy and sustainable diet.
- Education in the fields of nutrition and food.

Admissions are made via the Parcoursup platform.
The profiles sought are:
BAC général obtained after 2021 with at least two of the following specialties: Mathematics, Physics-Chemistry,
SVT.
General BACobtained before 2021: BAC S.
Technological baccalaureate : STL, ST2S

Professional integration
Graduates of the B.U.T. in Biological Engineering with a specialization in dietetics and nutrition can work as dietitian nutritionists in a variety of sectors (private practice, foodservice, etc.); dietitian product managers in the agri-food industry; R&D project managers; health education project managers; public health project managers; quality managers in foodservice and agri-food industries.
This B.U.T. enables professional integration in various sectors:
- hospitals and clinics
- follow-up care and rehabilitation facilities,
- Home health care providers (PSAD),
- catering establishments,
- sports centers,
