Training structure
Faculty of Science, Continuing Education Department
Presentation
This training course aims to introduce IT developers to the development of a RESTful API with NestJS and an authentication microservice using JWTs. NestJS is the most popular JavaScript framework for creating a properly architected backend that can be used by any client framework (including Angular, React, and Vue). Furthermore, the use of JSON Web Tokens is essential for user authentication in JavaScript web applications.
Theoretically, commonalities will be highlighted using design patterns and architecture patterns from computer software engineering.
Training benefits
Three other micro-certifications have been developed in the same field:
- JavaScript frameworks for web application development: 30 hours of training spread over 5 days
- Introduction to the Angular Framework: 9 hours of training spread over 3 half-days
- React and Vue, alternative frontend frameworks to Angular: 12 hours of training spread over 2 days
If you wish, you can take these four micro-certifications in the form of a short training course.
Objectives
Develop a RESTful API with NestJS and an authentication microservice using JWTs with Node.js.
Know-how and skills
At the end of the training, an assessment will measure the acquisition of skills, identify participants' strengths and areas for improvement, and validate their ability to apply the knowledge acquired in a professional context.
