Objectives
The "English for wood sciences" course is designed to reinforce and consolidate basic language skills, and to enable students to develop oral and written fluency compatible with working in an English-speaking team.
Necessary prerequisites
Recommended prerequisites: CEFR B2 level in oral and written French.
Target skills
Explain technical concepts, adapting genre and register to audience and purpose.
Explain and prove your point of view at some length, using secondary arguments, justifications and relevant examples.
Manage plenary and group interactions.
Interviewing and being interviewed.
Break down and summarize complicated information.
Take notes.
