Presentation
The SAFIR program studies the development, evolution and transmission of knowledge, and examines different conceptions of learning. Its aim is to build the skills of
Formation, linked to engineering practices, but also to the analysis of situations integrating the real activity of players in the teaching and educational training professions as closely as possible. The trainer's identity and professionalism are built within a community of practice through research and the implementation of training research initiatives.
Backed by various fields of research in education and training sciences,
this course mobilizes a multi-disciplinary team of teachers and teacher-researchers.
Objectives
This course is designed for continuing education and certification of professional skills. Following validation of the Master's degree, it is also possible to pursue a doctorate. This program is designed to enable professionals in the field of education, teaching and training to progress within their own or other institutions. It can also open the door to a career in research in the field of education and training.
Know-how and skills
Training content is structured around:
Theoretical insights into the development, evolution and transmission of knowledge (including disciplinary knowledge and skills, didactic and inter-didactic know-how, etc.) in educational training professions, from epistemological, historical, didactic and methodological perspectives.
Questions about the design, management, support and evaluation of training courses. The perspective adopted is that of training engineering practices, initial and continuing, university and institutional, integrating the question of the trainer's actual activity.
And a personal research process leading to the production of a dissertation based on a training issue, supervised by a tutor and shared with all students during research seminars.
Program
Designed to be followed while maintaining a professional activity, the training is based on three mechanisms:
Group sessions lasting several consecutive days during the autumn, winter and spring school vacations.u A research seminar held throughout the year. Individualized supervision by a tutor for the preparation of the dissertation.u The course takes place at the Montpellier site, and the research seminar can also be attended at
in Nîmes. A digital platform provides access to a range of resources: course documents, bibliographical elements, activities and exchange mechanisms.
