Presentation

The Master's degree in Notarial Law is professionally oriented: the courses are designed to prepare students for specific professions, namely those related to notarial practice. All courses and the diverse composition of the teaching team are designed to promote the professional focus of the program. This objective is facilitated by a very precise targeting of career opportunities and by contacts developed with regional and national notarial professional bodies (as evidenced, for example, by the annual organization of a symposium with ARNU: Association Rapprochement Notariat-Université).

Objectives

The primary purpose of the Master's degree in Notarial Law is professional, with courses organized to prepare students for specific careers: professions in the notarial field.
This specific focus makes it possible to:
- develop a curriculum tailored to the needs of the profession
- recruit highly motivated students with a realistic view of their future careers (a view generally developed through previous internships, which are one of the selection criteria).

At the same time, this program has scientific ambitions. This is reflected in the organization of regular conferences, open to students and professionals in the relevant sector, and above all in the holding of an annual symposium, co-organized with a professional association that guides the choice of theme towards practical considerations. The four previous editions of this event have been the subject of national publications.
This aspect helps to maintain the motivation and cohesion of the students (who participate scientifically in this event) and to give their degree national recognition.
