The purpose of the Master's degree in notarial law is professional: the courses are organized to prepare students for the exercise of precisely targeted professions: the notarial professions. All of the courses and the mixed composition of the team are designed to promote the professionalization of the program. This objective is facilitated by a very precise targeting of job opportunities and by the contacts developed with the professional bodies of the regional and national notary's office (as, for example, the annual organization of a colloquium with the Arnu: Association Rapprochement Notariat-Université) attests.

Objectives

The primary purpose of the Master's degree in notarial law is professional, as the courses are organized to prepare students for the exercise of precisely targeted professions: the notarial professions.
This precise targeting makes it possible to:
- create a curriculum adapted to the needs of the profession
- recruit students who are highly motivated and have a realistic vision of the professions for which they are destined (a vision generally developed through previous internships, this point being one of the selection criteria).

At the same time, this program has scientific ambitions. This is reflected in the organization of periodic conferences, open to students and professionals in the sector concerned, and above all in the holding of an annual colloquium, co-organized with a professional association that directs the choice of theme towards practical considerations. The four previous editions of this event have been published nationally.
This aspect allows to support the motivation and the cohesion of the students (who participate scientifically in this event) and to give a national reputation to their diploma.
