The Master in Local Authority Law enables students to acquire the following skills:
- Understanding the legal environment of local and regional authorities;
- Understanding local and regional administrations and the public and private bodies working with them;
- Finding a job in a local or regional authority or in a company working with local and regional authorities;
- Managing a department;
- Interacting with local and regional authority executives and elected representatives;
- Managing staff;
- Organizing and analyzing information;
- Organizing and leading meetings;
- Mastering management and project management methods and tools;
- Mastering writing and oral expression techniques;
- Mastering information and communication technology (ICT) tools;
- Mastering one or more foreign languages.

Target audience
The Master's degree in Local Authority Law is open to students who meet the necessary prerequisites and wish to enter a job requiring knowledge of local authorities, their law and their environment. The Master's degree in Local Authority Law is also open to people who are already in employment and who wish to pursue further training.

Further studies
On completion of the Master's degree in Local Authority Law, graduates can continue their studies at IPAG to prepare for administrative competitive examinations, or at IEJ for those wishing to become lawyers. It is also possible to pursue a doctoral thesis.
