Production management and quality

This teaching unit aims to provide knowledge of the vocabulary and main tools used in production departments to organize production and ensure the required level of quality, while respecting cost and deadline constraints.

Know the vocabulary and main tools used in Production departments in order to organize Production.

Know the vocabulary and main tools used in Quality departments

Understanding the challenges of industrial mechanical production in a constrained environment (quality, costs, deadlines)

Knowledge of basic production management methods (classification, inventory management, lean management, project management)

Knowledge of basic production management methods (basic quality circle tools, SPC, etc.)

Be able to organize and analyze experiments using Taguchi's experimental design methodology.
