Modeling and Simulation Project

Description*: Project carried out in a research laboratory or in connection with an industrial issue, during which the student must, alone or in a group, take ownership of the problem proposed by the research team and use the modeling and calculation tools acquired during their training to solve it and propose a solution. The student must provide a written and oral report on their approach and the results obtained.

• Being able to understand and grasp an issue
• Be able to apply the calculation and modeling tools acquired during training to the problem at hand.
• Be able to present the approach taken orally and in writing

Mechanical calculation and modeling tools

• A "working" grade is assigned
• Ten-page report written at the end of the project
• 15-minute oral defense + 5 minutes of questions

The final grade is the average of three grades: coursework, report, and oral defense.
