Health Basics (Prolegomena Health and Biology)

This teaching unit is the first one related to the "bio" part of the biomechanics course. It is intended for students with a mechanical engineering background. Its mission is to give students the basic notions of health and biology that will allow them to better understand future teaching and projects in biomechanics.

The objective of this course is to provide students with basic notions in health and biology. For this purpose, students will be reminded of the basic notions of human anatomy, physiology, cellular biology and surgical techniques. It is planned that some of these lessons will be given by health professionals (doctors, physiotherapists, orthodontists, etc.).
