Health basics (Health and biology prolegomena)

This teaching unit is the first in connection with the "bio" part of the biomechanics course. It is aimed at students with a mechanical engineering background. Its aim is to provide students with a basic understanding of health and biology, enabling them to better prepare for future courses and projects in biomechanics.

The aim of this course is to provide students with a basic understanding of health and biology. This will include basic notions of human anatomy, physiology, cell biology and surgical techniques. Some of this teaching will be provided by healthcare professionals (doctors, physiotherapists, orthodontists, etc.).
