Description
This EU focuses on analyzing the impact of humans on the climate and the environment.
Objectives
"- Understand how scientific research works in the field of climate (IPCC);
- Be able to describe the main characteristics and magnitude of current climate change and expected projections;
- Describe the main impacts of climate change and the associated challenges in the environmental, economic, political, and societal fields;
- Describe anthropogenic impacts on the environment (i.e., heavy metals) and climate;
- Learn about major climatic events of the past and the tools used to reconstruct them;
- Stable and radiogenic isotope methods;
- Design, produce, and present an article, taking an integrative approach to geochronological, climatic, environmental, and sociocultural issues;
- Mobilize knowledge in various disciplinary and thematic contexts
