The "Building and civil engineering trades" vocational degree is divided into two courses. One focuses more on control and expertise, the other on maintenance.
These two paths lead to completely different professions and functions:
- for the Building Inspection and Expertise (CEB) course, we find technical inspectors, insurance experts and project management assistants.
- The GTPIS (Gestion Technique du Patrimoine Immobilier et Social - Technical management of real estate and social assets) course trains staff specializing in technical maintenance throughout the life of a building.
Organization

Program
Training for the LP CEB takes place at the Nîmes IUT and the Lycée de la Salle in Alès. The LP GTPIS is run exclusively at the Nîmes IUT.
Part of the course is taught at the training center, while another part takes place directly at the host company, where the student learns the trade under the supervision of an internship supervisor appointed by the company.
