Presentation
The aim is to train professionals in the design and technical management of buildings. The two courses offered have different orientations, one focusing on control and expertise and the other on maintenance.
These two courses lead to different professions and functions: for the CEB course, we find technical controllers, insurance experts and project management assistants, while the GTPIS course trains personnel specializing in technical maintenance during the life of the building.
The advantages of the training
Objectives
The professional license "building and civil engineering trades" is divided into two courses. They have different orientations, one more on control and expertise and the other on maintenance.
These two paths lead to completely different jobs and functions:
- for the course Control and Expertise of the Building (CEB), we find the technical controllers, the experts near the insurances and the assistants to the control of work.
- The Technical Management of Real Estate and Social Assets (GTPIS) program trains personnel specializing in technical maintenance during the life of a building.

Continuous assessment, writing of a thesis and defense before a jury composed of teachers and professionals.
Program
The training of the LP CEB takes place in the training center, on the site of the IUT of Nîmes and the lycée de la Salle in Alès. For the LP GTPIS, it is only carried out at the IUT of Nîmes.
Part of the training is given in the training center and another part is given directly in the host company, where the student learns the trade under the supervision of an internship supervisor designated by the company.

Building Control and Expertise
Delivered at the IUT of Nîmes, the training takes into account the evolution of the professions of technical control, construction expertise, project management assistance (AMO) and diagnosis. It integrates broad knowledge of technical construction regulations in all trades (structure, work and technical equipment).
The CEB course is carried out in partnership with the Lycée de la Salle in Alès.
