Overview
The professional bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Energy Professions, with a specializationin Electrical and Electronic Engineering Project Manager (CAIEE), offered at the Montpellier IUT campus, is available exclusively through a professional contract in partnership with the AFPI. It allows students to gain professional experience validated by a national degree and to stay closely aligned with the needs of industrial companies.
Objectives
Upon completion of the training program, graduates will be able to:
• analyze the needs of internal or external clients and assess the feasibility of their requests.
• manage and process information.
• communicate and interact with company departments and suppliers.
• conduct comparative analyses to justify a decision and propose action plans to the client and their supervisor.
For companies in the metalworking industry, there is the option to have the trainee take the Joint Qualification Certificate for the Metalworking Industry (CQPM), “Industrial Project Management Assistant,” CQPM No. 0142.

1. High- and low-voltage electrical distribution:
- expertise in the organization of the transmission and distribution of electrical energy

Duration: 12 months
Number of training hours: 441 h
The work-study program consists, on average, of 3 weeks in a company and 1 week of training at AFPI Languedoc-Roussillon in Montpellier or at the IUT GEII in Montpellier.
Successful completion of the program earns 60 European credits (ECTS).

Target Audience
Suitable Candidates: Young people under the age of 26 who hold a two-year technical degree with a foundation in “electrical and electronic engineering.” Applicants over the age of 26 may be considered under specific conditions.

The goal of the vocational bachelor's degree is to help students enter the workforce quickly, rather than to pursue further studies.
Employment Placement
After the bachelor’s degree:
The graduate employment rate has been close to 90% within 6 months for the last 4 graduating classes.
