Presentation
The Bachelor's degree in Science, Teaching and Mediation at the University of Montpellier is offered by the Faculty of Education (hereinafter referred to as FDE). There are two tracks:
Preparatory course for the professorship
Pluridisciplinarity and the teaching, education and training professions [FDE] [FDE
Within the Pluridisciplinarité et métiers de l'enseignement, de l'éducation et de la formation course, there is a sub-course entitled "Sciences et technique de l'ingénieur pour l'enseignement et la formation" (STIEF).
At the same time, the Faculty of Science (FDS), in collaboration with the FDE, is running a "Science in primary education and scientific mediation" course, called SPDMS, which trains students to become school teachers or scientific mediators.
Objectives
The main aim is to prepare students to become teachers, and to prepare them for entry into a Master MEEF premier ou second degré, or Master de médiation scientifique.

Program
- Parcours préparatoire au professorat des écoles (PPPE) (Preparatory course for professors of primary schools) moves from a first year mainly in high school to a third year mainly at university.
L1: 75% Lycée Jean Monnet and 25% Montpellier Faculty of Education
L2: 50% Lycée Jean Monnet and 50% Montpellier Faculty of Education
L3: 25% Lycée Jean Monnet and 75% Montpellier Faculty of Education
- Pluridisciplinarité et métiers de l'enseignement, de l'éducation et de la formation (PMEEF) is delivered at 5 training sites: Carcassonne, Mende, Montpellier, Nîmes and Perpignan. The course is divided into 6 semesters over 3 years. The 3rd year offers the opportunity to follow the "Education and Training" sub-course, designed for the CPE profession.
- Sciences et techniques industrielles pour l'éducation et la formation (STIEF) sub-course takes place only in Licence 3 at the Montpellier Faculty of Education.
Admission
Admission requirements
New baccalaureate holders or baccalaureate holders undergoing retraining must apply via Parcoursup.
Students with a BUT or DUT in technology wishing to enter the L3 STIEF program can apply via Ecandidat.

New baccalaureate holders and retraining baccalaureate holders.

For those who have followed the L3 STIEF sub-course in the MEEF master's program:
-2nd grade Industrial engineering, industrial science and technology (SII-STI)
Master's degree in Education and Training:
-Training engineering in French and English as foreign languages (EIFFALE)
-Artistic and cultural mediation (MAC)
-Corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, health, environment and citizenship education (ReSoDDe-ESEC)
-Transitions, training engineering and business transformation (TransForM)
Master's degree in Scientific Mediation.
