Objectives

The Licence en droit with a "health access" option (LAS) is a course whose main objective is to enable students to acquire a fundamental base of knowledge and skills in law, while allowing them to apply for MMOP (Medicine, Maieutics, Odontology, Pharmacy).

The LAS Droit is made up of first, second and third year courses.

The1st year of the LAS is structured in two tracks:

  • LOSI (License with integrated health option)

The first year of the LOSI Law is composed of the "Law Major" (48 ECTS) and the "Health Minor" (12 ECTS), the latter being taught by the Faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy of the University of Montpellier. It is reserved for baccalaureate graduates as well as for students who have not previously followed health studies. If the student passes the first year, he/she can apply for the health field(s) of interest. If he/she is admitted to thesecond year of MMOP, he/she continues his/her studies at the Faculty concerned.

  • LOSC (License with complementary health option)

The LOSC Droit allows students to take the "health minor" (12 ECTS) in addition to the 60 ECTS of the L1, L2 or L3 Droit. The first year of the LOSC is open to students who have not validated the PASS but who wish to continue the health option in order to be admitted to the health programs at the end of the L2 (after having validated 120 ECTS in Law and 12 ECTS of the health minor) or at the end of the L3 (after having validated 180 ECTS in Law and 12 ECTS of the health minor).

The2nd year of the LOSC Law (LAS 2) is divided into two tracks:

  • L2 Adapted course with the complementary health option

This course is open to students who have passed the PASS and who have taken the "law minor" as part of their health curriculum

  • L2 LOSC (License with complementary health option)

This course is open to students who have validated the L1 LOSC or the1st year of the LOSI.

The3rd year of the LOSC Law (LAS 3) is open to students who have completed the second year of the LOSC.

At the end of the L2 Droit LOSC or the L3 Droit LOSC, the student can, on the condition that he/she has validated 120 or 180 ECTS and 12 ECTS of the "health minor", apply again for health studies (MMOP).

During the LAS and PASS years, the student may apply, twice maximum, for one or more health programs among those offered by the University of Montpellier.
