Math Refresher Course

The goal is to provide the minimum mathematical foundation required for a bachelor's degree in computer science.

A course designed for students who did not acquire certain basic mathematical skills in high school.

1) Elementary Calculus: Fractions, Powers, Logarithms, Various Sums

2) Basic concepts in logic and reasoning: negation of a proposition, logical connectives (and, or), quantifiers, implication, equivalence, contrapositive. Different types of reasoning and mathematical proofs: reasoning by contraposition, proof by induction, proof by contradiction

3) Analysis: Limits, Derivatives, and Finding Extremes

4) Sequences and Recurrences

5) Probabilities
