The International Business: Purchasing and Sales program aims to provide training in international marketing and trade by developing strategic and operational skills in an international context. Upon completion of this program, graduates will be qualified for positions in international trade.

In B.U.T. 2, this program is completed as a traditional course of study with an 8-week internship. In B.U.T. 3, this program is also completed as a traditional course of study with a 5-month semester abroad at one of our partner universities or schools and a 14-week internship.

In addition to the skills common to all BUT TC programs (marketing, sales, commercial communication), the BIAV program allows students to develop skills in the field of international strategy on the one hand, and in the field of international operations on the other (see below).

International strategy: formulate an international trade strategy by:

  • analyzing the company's capacity to internationalize with a view to developing its import/export business;
  • assessing the international environment to identify import and export opportunities;
  • selecting the market(s) that perform best for the company.

International operations: managing international operations by:

  • using the appropriate tools for international purchasing;
  • adapting the supply chain to the international business strategy;
  • effectively managing import-export operations;
  • developing a marketing policy tailored to the international context.
