Presentation
The health studies concerned are the Maïeutics, Medicine, Odontology and Pharmacy (MMOP) streams as well as the Kinesitherapy (K) stream.
MMOPK health studies are selective: the number of places in the second year is limited.
High school students can choose between several paths that will allow them to apply for health studies after one, two or three years of undergraduate studies.
Executive Order 2019-1126 of November 4, 2019...
The system allows students to submit a second application if they fail the first.
It is also organized to encourage students who fail the MMOPK to reorient themselves.
At the University of Montpellier, two courses (known as previous courses) are offered, which allow, under certain conditions,
to apply to MMOPK.
- The PASS course (Specific Access to Health Course) offered by the Faculties of Health.
Most of the courses are in the field of health. In addition, there are complementary courses
known as "reos" which allow students to continue in the second year of their bachelor's degree at
if they are not admitted to the MMOPK (there is no possibility of repeating a year in the PASS) - The LAS pathway (license with health access option).
Mirroring the PASS system, the majority of courses are those of the license in question (law,
economics, mathematics, physics, etc.). In addition, there are "health minors" made up of
of health-related courses that allow students to apply to MMOPK.
The LAS program is offered at the University of Montpellier by "non-health" faculties
and by partner universities that do not have a health faculty:
Université Paul Valéry, Université de Perpignan, Université de Nîmes - Other access routes to MMOP, which are in the minority in terms of number of places, are possible, for example after a master's degree
2, a doctorate, an engineering degree, or after training in a nursing training institute

TUTORATE!
Tutoring helps students succeed in their first year of health studies. To this end, student "tutors" offer regular review sessions to prepare you for the demands of the first year.
Don't miss this important support throughout the year! Tutoring is present on all 3 PASS campuses:
- on the Flahault campus, find the ATP tutoring
- on the ADV campus, find the ATM2 tutoring
- on the Carémeau campus in Nîmes, find the TSN tutoring
To prepare for the new school year with peace of mind, the tutorials have put together a pre-school course for you at the end of August.
Admission
Capacity
It is determined each year by the universities with a health component, in conjunction with the regional health agencies (ARS), and is based on the intake capacity in the second and third years of the faculties of
health and on the needs of the territories in terms of health professionals.
