Training Structure
Faculty of Sciences, Joint Continuing Education Office
Overview
During the “Polymers” course, you will first learn about the general characteristics of solid-state polymer materials, and then you will conduct and interpret mechanical and thermal tests to characterize polymers.
The course content in this training program is designed to provide students with skills in the thermomechanical analysis of polymers:
- Measurement of characteristic temperatures (Tg, Tf, Tc, Td) using DSC and ATG
- Measurement of Mechanical Properties: Tensile Tests
- Measurement of Thermomechanical Properties Using DMA and a Rheometer
The Benefits of the Training Program
