TheAPPLIEDPUBLIC LAW MASTER'S DEGREE is a three-year university diploma (DU) that complements the courses taught in Bachelor's 3, Master's 1, and Master's 2, practical application of public law through case studies, practical scenarios, and the handling of cases proposed by public law professionals, lawyers, public officials, and administrative and judicial magistrates. The program also includes courses taught by academics, providing students with the fundamentals of subjects not covered in their chosen course of study (elements of private law) and highly specialized courses in the third year of the Master's program.
The Master's program meets the needs of legal practitioners, who welcome students with a practical and applied view of public law to complement their initial training.

Objectives
- Enable students to acquire a comprehensive understanding of public law by applying the fundamentals of the course to case studies or files proposed and corrected by professionals, particularly lawyers, thanks to a partnership with the Montpellier Bar Association.

Students are assessed each year on the basis of a final oral exam and continuous assessment carried out by the various lecturers.

Students who were not enrolled in the first year and who obtained a grade of at least 13/20 in their Bachelor's degree exams or who can demonstrate special circumstances may apply for the second year (Magistère 2), subject to availability. Applications are assessed by an Academic Council.

Mandatory prerequisites
Terms of access
Selection is based on application, at the end of the second year of the bachelor's degree, taking into account the candidates' results and motivation. Applications are reviewed by an Improvement Council for eligibility. Admission is based on selection interviews.
Students who were not enrolled in the first year and who have obtained a grade of at least 12/20 in their Bachelor's degree exams or who can demonstrate special circumstances may apply for the second year (Magistère 2). Applications are assessed by the Academic Council and are granted subject to the number of places available in the class.

Professional integration
The University Diploma in Applied Public Law allows students to deepen their knowledge of public law in order to pursue careers in the following fields, among others:
- Attorney
- Legal services for public authorities and their public institutions and groups
- Legal services for semi-public companies, particularly local ones
- Legal advice for public or private companies.
