This professional degree aims to train CAD-CAM designers in the field of construction and public works, fully integrated into a BIM approach.
Objectives
The professional objectives of this professional license are to train senior technicians who are able to:
➔ to use the techniques of Computer Aided Drafting and Computer Aided Design in the field of Building and Public Works,
➔ to implement the total management of a project using the appropriate computer tools and new information and communication technologies, in order to create or manage sites in the field of Building and Public Works,
➔ to exercise functions of resource persons in the company, by intervening in the choice of software, in the choice of materials and in the first level maintenance,
➔ to follow the evolutions of software and equipment.
Know-how and skills
In the building and public works sector (BTP), the draftsmen are in charge of studying the problems posed by the realization of the various parts of a work (pavilion, building for residential, commercial or industrial use). The work is done in a design office.
This professional prepares the documents (written and drawings) for the realization of works. He/she uses more and more CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CAD (Computer Aided Design) software.
He ensures the total management of projects, intervenes in the choice of software and materials, also participates in the optimization of costs and manufacturing deadlines and ensures the basic maintenance of computer equipment and networks.

Necessary pre-requisites
Hold a DUT or BTS degree from a technological field or a L2 degree from a university.
Examination of the file and invitation to an individual interview.
The department decides on a list of candidates admitted to the apprenticeship program.
Seek a company to sign an apprenticeship contract at the beginning of the program.
Proposals for apprenticeship contracts may be sent to successful candidates.
