IUT Montpellier-Sète
Presentation
The professional degree in HRM, Assistant, Remuneration, working time and personnel administration, located on the site of the IUT of Montpellier, is open to initial and continuing education as well as to apprenticeship and professionalization contracts.
Its ambition is to train HRM managers, developing a specialization in competent payroll, from the preparation of the salary slip to the establishment of the social balance sheet.
Know-how and skills
- - Management of the follow-up of the various work contracts (permanent, fixed-term, temporary, seasonal, international, trainee, apprenticeship, etc.).
- Accounting for working time (work, rest, vacations, RTT, illness, etc.).
- Compliance with obligations (training, staff representation, declaration, statistics, etc.).
- Payroll management (salaries, bonuses, profit-sharing, social security contributions, drawing up the social balance sheet, etc.).
- Recruitment (implementation of the procedure, management of contacts,...).
- Taking into account the evolution of the environment (optimization of contracts, remuneration and strategic choices).
- Understanding and situating oneself in the environment of organizations

Organization
Programme
Training classic :
Courses from mid-September to the end of February. 16-week internship in a company from March to June. Between 20 and 25 students
Alternation :
The training starts in September, for a duration of one year. Alternating IUT/enterprise: 3 days in the company and 2 days in class, for a total of 15 weeks in the Centre and 34 weeks in the company over the year.
CFA ENSUP LR Sud de France in partnership with the CFA of the CCI of Nîmes and the SFCUM.
The validation of the diploma allows to obtain 60 European credits (ECTS).
Content of the course :
Environment and behaviour: analysis of transversal projects, behaviour (individual and group), English.
- Basic social management tools: payroll accounting (for employees), social law, payroll and personnel management software.
- Acquisition of skills: conflict management, negotiation, provident fund management, working time management, administrative and training management, IT management.
- Implication for business management: executive remuneration, management control applied to HR, English (in-depth).
- Specific environment: HR in the public sector, strategic HR management, personnel management in the commercial sector.
- Professional placement: tutored project and 16-week internship.

Registration for a Professional Licence at the IUT consists of 3 stages. Each step must be validated to proceed to the next:
Step 1 - Admissibility of the file :
- Hold a bachelor's degree or one in progress*.
- Complete file.
Step 2 - Eligibility : Pronounced by a pedagogical commission after examination of the file (Curriculum Vitae, Letter of Motivation, Transcript of marks... details on e-candidat). The commission may ask for other documents to be added to the file.
Stage 3 - Final admission Final admission: Subject to the signature of a work-study contract (apprenticeship or professionalization contract) within a company with missions in line with the theme of the LPro, within the limits of the places available in the training.
*Suitable profiles: Bac + 2 diploma: DUT GEA or TC; BTS CGO or AG PME-PMI; L2 economics or AES; atypical course of L2 or higher.
