This degree trains students to develop and implement educational projects (for the general public, throughout life) on environmental issues and
sustainable development. It can be followed in initial training or in work-study.

Know-how and skills

Pedagogical responsibility and intervention in EEDD training:
Trained in educational sciences and pedagogy in the field of the environment, graduates will also acquire in-depth knowledge of the actors and issues specific to sustainable development as well as the skills necessary for team management and project management.

Network coordination:
Facilitate the circulation of information, set up participative practices, initiate projects and federate actors and partners, organize an event.


Consulting and mediation:
Identify the issues of a territory, the logic of actors and implement consultation and negotiation processes.
Participate in the support of communities and schools towards sustainable development

The particularities of the alternation :


- 18 weeks of classes, 34 weeks in the company


- 5 to 6 periods at the Florac Institute from 1 to 4 weeks

Program

The training is organized over an academic year, starting in September, in Florac, in Lozère. It includes:
- two weeks of immersion at the Florac institute and one week of observation in a company or association (at the employer's for alternating students);
- courses and tutorials: 400 hours. A part of the teaching will be done in active and project-based pedagogy;
- tutored project: 130 hours;
- insertion in the professional environment: 14 weeks from April to June / in a company within the framework of alternation or continuous training;
- knowledge control: continuous control or final control at the end of each module. Oral defense of the report is compulsory;
- a "Professional and personal project" module prepares the student for professional integration.

 

Training Program:

UE 0 : Upgrading and projecting: collective immersion in a territory and in a professional culture (91h)
- Discovering the training territory
- Observing and analyzing the job of EEDD project coordinator in a professional structure
- Collective expertise/consultancy mission in a professional structure


UE 1 : Inscribing projects in territories and major societal issues (100 h - ECTS credits : 6)
- Questioning and appropriating the societal issues of EEDD
- Knowing how to build a scientific culture in EEDD
- Inscribing the project in territories in movement
- Being accompanied and sharing one's personal and professional project


UE 2 : Educational, didactic and training currents in EEDD (80 h - ECTS credits : 5)
- Adopt a scientific posture on the educational issues of EEDD
- Know how to argue pedagogical and educational choices
- Adopt the posture and skills necessary for intervention in training


UE 3 : Coordination and accompaniment postures (70 h - ECTS credits : 4)
- Distinguish and appropriate the tools and postures of advisor, accompanist, mediator
- Learn about tools that promote reflexivity and change in accompaniment and training
- Know how to analyze the real activity of the project coordinator in EEDD


UE 4 : Modern languages and communication (50 h - ECTS credits : 4)
- Practice a foreign language by promoting self-confidence and self-esteem
- Know how to mobilize a professional language of EEDD in a foreign language
- Speak in public with ease to present a project, an action ...


UE 5 : Leading and coordinating work groups (70 h - ECTS credits : 5 )
- Coordinating a team of facilitators or a group of professionals
- Knowing how to construct sequences of debates and meetings adapted to the targeted objectives and the participants present


UE 6 : Writing and designing an EEDD project on a territory (90 h - ECTS credits : 6 )
- Be able to design, write and plan the follow-up of a project
- Identify the different statutes and functioning of EEDD partner structures
- Know how to interact with a communication provider


UE 7 : Tutored project (140 h - ECTS credits : 10)
The apprentices/trainees will be with their employers during this UE. They will write a thesis or an activity report to evaluate UE 7 and 8 at the same time (adapted evaluation grid).


UE 8 : Work experience and report/memoir writing (490h - ECTS credits : 20)
- The report will testify to the work experience and its analysis.
- in "classic" training: on the basis of the work experience (14 weeks minimum),
- in sandwich training: on the basis of missions identified in consultation with the employer and the training manager. The activity report will allow the evaluation of UE 7 and 8 at the same time (adapted evaluation grid).

Conditions of access

Admission requirements


Holders of a diploma of level bac+2 (DUT, BTSA, DEUST, L2) in the fields of environment, geography, biology, educational sciences, social intervention.


In continuing education: job seekers, employees in the production, consulting and environmental sectors as part of their company's training plan (CPF) or individual training leave (CIF).

In alternation: within the framework of an apprenticeship contract (under 26 years old) or a one-year professionalization contract.

Selection is based on a file and an interview.
