The Professional Degree in Purchasing and Supply Management is designed to integrate students who have acquired the degree of Licence (180 credits) into level II jobs in the public and private sectors in the field of purchasing and supply. This Bachelor's degree offers the possibility of taking the civil service competitive examination for category C and B positions. It offers a sandwich course and is open to continuing education.

Programme
Traditional system:
Validation of the diploma leads to 60 European credits (ECTS) and leads to the degree of Licence. The course includes 430 hours of classes, 120 hours of group project management and 16 weeks of internship.
The group project must respond to a purchasing problem posed by companies, or answer a question related to purchasing, submitted by the teaching team. The defence of the tutored project takes place at the end of semester 5.
The internship carried out alone by the student must be a preparation for the job of buyer or procurer. Possibility of validation of prior learning.

Work-linked training : apprenticeship contract and professionalization contract
Work-linked training or professionalization contracts can be signed with private or public companies.
Students can propose them to the training structure. The training structure can propose them to the students. A contract in the application file is a plus for recruitment.
The course includes 430 hours of teaching, 120 hours of projects and 15 weeks of classes at the IUT for 30 weeks in a company, 16 of which are allocated to a professional mission (purchases made independently).
For both schemes: The diploma includes a week of awareness-raising for public servicecompetitions (local authorities, hospitals, universities, etc.).
The teaching is given by university lecturers and professional lecturers.

Procurement management in the public sector
The GASP professional degree offered at the IUT Montpellier-Sète allows the student to follow a course called"Public Sector Purchasing Management".
