Overview
The Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, with a specializationin Public Sector Purchasing, is designed to prepare students who have earned a Bachelor’s degree (180 credits) for Level II positions in both the public and private sectors in the fields of purchasing and supply chain management. This degree program prepares students to take civil service exams for Category C and B positions. It offers a work-study program and is open to continuing education students.

Program
Standard Program:
Successful completion of the program awards 60 European credits (ECTS) and leads to a Bachelor’s degree. The program includes430 hoursof coursework, 120 hours of group project work, and a 16-week internship.
The group project must address a procurement issue raised by companies or respond to a procurement-related question submitted by the faculty. The defense of the supervised project takes place at the end of the fifth semester.
The internship, which the student completes independently, must serve as preparation for a career as a buyer or procurement specialist. Recognition of prior learning is available.

PLEASE NOTE: There are very few spots available.
Work-Study Program: Apprenticeship Contracts and Professional Training Contracts
Work-study or professional trainingcontracts can be entered into with private or public companies.
Students may propose such contracts to the educational institution. The educational institution may propose them to students. Including a contract in the application is a plus for the admissions process.
The program consists of 430 hours of instruction, 120 hours of projects, and 15 weeks of classes at the IUT, along with 30 weeks in a company, 16 of which are dedicated to a professional assignment (independent purchasing tasks).
For both programs: The degree includes aone-week sessionto raise awareness about civil service exams(local government, hospitals, universities, etc.).
Courses are taught by university faculty and industry professionals.
