The professional degree in Insurance, Banking, and Finance: Customer Service Representative specializingin Retail Market Sales Advisor prepares students in one year through an apprenticeship program (CFA DIFCAM or FORMAPOSTE, depending on the host company) for positions as sales advisors in the banking and insurance sectors.

The degree is ISO 9001 certified, version 2015.
The program is divided into two complementary stages (440 hours) and at least 25% of the teaching is provided by professionals from the sector:
- General training related to careers in insurance, banking, and finance.
- Specific training for the profession of sales advisor for private individuals.
Professional and regulatory certifications are awarded either during the year, depending on the results of tests, or upon graduation for some: LCB-FT, International Sanctions (OFAC), LCC-Lagarde Law, DCI Directive, ACPR Insurance Level 1.
The integration of additional course modules now allows students to prepare for certification by the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF).
These different stages are combined with an internship thesis and a professional project report (120 hours), which ensure that students develop solid skills during the two semesters of the professional bachelor's degree.

The advantages of the training program

Knowledge is assessed on an ongoing basis for each course. Defenses are used to evaluate internship reports and supervised (group) projects
The LP is obtained if the average is higher than 10/20 across all grades, including the internship and project, and if the average is higher than 10/20 for the internship and project combined (1999 professional bachelor's degree decree and 2014 bachelor's, professional bachelor's, and master's degree decree).
The degree is worth 60 European credits (ECTS).
The degree is equivalent to:

  • Training on the Consumer Credit Act (Lagarde Act)
  • DCI (Real Estate Credit Directive) training,
  • ACPR Level I,
  • IAS Level I,
  • Level I IOB,
  • Level I CIF.

Professional certifications are awarded during the year, depending on the successful completion of certain exams:
- LCB – FT (anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing), private market
- International sanctions – OFAC,
- Consumer Credit Law – Lagarde Law
The bachelor's degree offers the opportunity to take the Voltaire certification and the ibellule module for email writing at the Montpellier-Sète University Institute of Technology.

Target audience

Graduates with a two-year college degree, preferably with a focus on business.

Be under 30 years of age when signing an apprenticeship contract. Any age for signing a professional training contract.

Continuing education

The aim of the professional bachelor's degree is to enable students to quickly enter the workforce rather than continue their studies.
However, some students do go on to pursue professional master's degrees, usually through a work-study program with their host company, particularly in the fields of professional or wealth management consulting.
