SHORT TRAINING COURSE | Confocal Raman microscopy for biology

  • Training structure

    Continuing Education Department

Presentation

Raman spectroscopy is a non-invasive, label-free technique that provides chemical information about samples. For several decades, it has been used in many areas of biology (cells, tissues, organoids, etc.).
The reconstruction of chemical maps provides a better understanding of the composition and structure of biomolecules such as proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, and their variation in space and time. It is widely used in cell biology and cancer research.
