Presentation

The deployment of digital pathology in laboratories streamlines and optimizes the process of slide reading by pathologists and facilitates collaborative work.
Beyond this advantage, digital pathology offers an expansion and diversification of analyses that pathologists and scientists cannot handle without tools. Image analysis therefore appears to be the solution for performing thesemultifactorial analyses. However, its use must be regulated and controlled in order to provide reliable and robust answers to biological and scientific questions.

Program

This short course consists of 10 hours of training, including 7 hours of theory and 3 hours of practice spread over 2 days.

Training session onMarch 18 and 19, 2026.

Price: €690 including tax

PROGRAM

Day 1: Theory
The first day is devoted entirely to theoryand will be divided into two parts.
The first part covers the key concepts and principles of image analysis.
The second part will allow participants to integrate all the concepts they have learned or reviewed and to understand the daily workflow in order to respond reliably and robustly to image analysis requests.

Day 2: Practical
session
This half-day session will focus on image analysis software that can be used to analyze both light-field and fluorescence images. After an explanation of how the software works, participants will watch a demonstration and then have the opportunity to practice using the software under the supervision of the trainer. Participants may bring images to perform their own tests.
