The DU OLEOLOGIE is set up by the University of Montpellier in collaboration with the Association Française Interprofessionnelle de l'Olive (AFIDOL).

The French olive-growing sector is currently undergoing rapid expansion, leading to changes at several levels:

- the nature of the farms,

- quantities produced,

- the number of processing units.

Number of sessions: 1

- Oleiculture, written test, duration 1.5 h

- Transformation Techniques, written test, 2 hrs.

- Composition and Analysis, written assessment and continuous assessment for practical work,

- Sensory analysis, tasting test, duration 1.5 h.

- Quality, Health and Safety - Regulations - Economics and Marketing, written knowledge test, duration 1.5 h.

Others:

Students in the 2nd year of the DNO and students from the UFR des Sciences Pharmaceutiques who have completed the 5th year of pharmacy studies are authorized to enroll, subject to availability.

 

Candidates who do not have the required diploma may register as Auditeurs libres.
