The Benefits of the Training Program
- Visit by a delegation from the School of Economics to high schools in Beijing and Boading (October 2019)
As part of the university diploma program “Preparation for University Studies for Non-French-Speaking Students,” program directors Edmond Baranes and Mathias Reymond traveled to Beijing and Boading, China, in October 2019 to establish partnerships with several high schools.
The purpose of these meetings was to present the degree programs offered by the Economics Department in Montpellier, as well as the university certificates (DU) that enable international students (particularly those from China) to learn French.
The interviews with school principals, teachers, and students were productive, as many high school students expressed their desire to come to Montpellier to continue their studies.
In the coming months, the heads of the university departments are expected to visit other high schools and other cities (Shanghai, Chengdu, etc.) in China.
Below are a few photos that capture our visits to Chinese schools.
