Overview
The "National Gendarmerie Officer" Talents preparatory program enables young scholarship recipients with a master’s degree (Bac+5) to prepare under the best possible conditions for the various exams of the National Gendarmerie officer entrance exam, with the aim of promoting diversity in recruitment. This preparatory program is based on a partnership agreement between the National Gendarmerie and the University of Montpellier within the framework of the Jean Moulin College of Law, Political Science, and Public Administration, which brings together the Department of Law and Political Science and the IPAG.
The program places special emphasis on preparing students for the university and science officer entrance exams.
Objectives
The Gendarmerie invites young people interested in preparing for the Gendarmerie officer entrance exams to join a Prépas Talents (CPT) class.
The “Prépas Talents” program offers you the opportunity to prepare under ideal conditions for the Gendarmerie officer entrance exams and civil service exams.
What sets this preparatory program apart is that it combines academic training—through agreements with partner universities—with military training at the school throughout the entire duration of the program. As a student, you will hold the status of Deputy Gendarme in a Special Assignment. The pace of this preparatory year is intense and requires commitment, discipline, and adherence to military values.
Students receive individual guidance through a mentoring program led by gendarmerie officers, who provide advice on study methods, feedback on their experiences, and personal support.
