Presentation
The Talents preparatory class "Gendarmerie Officer" allows young scholarship students with 5 years of higher education to prepare themselves in the best conditions for the different tests of the Gendarmerie officer exam, in order to promote the diversity of profiles in the recruitments. This preparatory class is based on a partnership agreement between the National Gendarmerie and the University of Montpellier within the framework of the Law, Political Science and Administration - Jean Moulin - collegium, which includes the Law and Political Science UFR and the IPAG.
The system puts a specific emphasis on the preparation of university and scientific officer competitions.
Objectives
The Gendarmerie offers young people wishing to prepare for the Gendarmerie's officer examinations the opportunity to join a Talent Preparedness class (CPT).
The Talent Prep classes offer the possibility to prepare yourself in good conditions for the Gendarmerie and Civil Service officer examinations.
The particularity of this preparatory program lies in the fact that it combines academic training, thanks to agreements with partner universities, and military training at the school throughout the course. As a student, you benefit from the status of Gendarme-adjoint Emploi Particulier. The pace of this year of preparation is intense and requires commitment, rigor and adherence to military values.
The students are individually accompanied by a tutoring service provided by gendarmerie officers for methodological advice, feedback and personal support.
