Presentation
The DU project responds to a demand from companies involved in medical device innovation, and a need for training to implement an innovation strategy for innovative medical devices.
Objectives
The aim of the "Innovation and Medical Devices" (IDM) DU is to teach the intellectual approach needed to innovate in the medical device sector, and how to anticipate the scientific, technical, regulatory and commercial obstacles blocking the innovation process.
Know-how and skills
Disciplinary and professional skills: ability to mobilize knowledge of medical devices to resolve a given situation (regulatory and technical issues).
Organizational skills: plan the progress of an innovation project and identify the priorities of an innovation process.
Interpersonal skills: ability to establish healthy and productive professional relationships: respect for others, collaborative spirit, teamwork, ability to listen.
Communication skills: ability to convey a message effectively: expressing a point of view clearly, giving a convincing presentation on an innovation strategy.
Reflective skills: the ability to think critically about an idea, a project and its implementation.
