The Specialized University Diploma in Rural Law and Agricultural Enterprises (DU D.R.E.A.) is a postgraduate program totaling 90 hours, designed exclusively for professional purposes. Admission Requirements

Admission requirements by level:

Applications are reviewed on the basis of the applicant's record by an academic selection committee, composed of at least two faculty members from the program and two professionals from the rural sector, which meets in June of each academic year.

Recruitment pool:

This degree is intended for three types of students:

Students at the University of Montpellier who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, particularly those in the Faculties of Law, Economics, and Business Administration, as well as those at MOMA, as well as law students enrolled with the CRFPA and students at the School of Notary Studies, who seek to acquire—in addition to the studies they are pursuing as part of their primary degree—additional specific legal knowledge designed to facilitate their future integration into the local or national job market in rural areas

Professionals in the rural sector, particularly from agricultural businesses, agricultural social mutual insurance funds, Crédit Agricole, Groupama Sud, and the Regional Chamber of Agriculture, who are seeking a degree from the University of Montpellier that provides them with a solid foundation in the legal and administrative organization of the rural sector and agricultural businesses, ultimately enabling them to advance their careers or enhance their employment prospects within the sector.
Attorneys, notaries, bailiffs, and other legal professionals.
