The DGFIP is at the heart of public finance at both national and local level. Inspectors are involved in a wide range of managerial and professional responsibilities (tax assessment for individuals and businesses, debt collection, fraud prevention, public accounting, advice to local authorities, support for companies in difficulty, management of the State's assets and land registry, management of the State's real estate policy, etc.).
