Written Preparation for the Entrance Exam: IRA (Regional Institutes of Administration)
Objectives
Our main goal: to help you succeed on the written exams for the entrance exam to the Regional Institutes of Administration (IRA).

Our training team is made up of professionals who understand the intricacies of civil service exams. Academics, senior civil servants, and former exam board members: each brings their own experience to the table.
Our academic director, Ms. Frédérique MIAILHE, embodies this dual expertise as a senior civil servant in the State administration and an associate professor.

Preparation for the written exams of the IRA entrance exam is also offered online :
- submission of assignments via an upload platform
- Video feedback sessions (live and/or recorded)

Admission
Admission Requirements
On selection
Applications must be submitted via the University of Montpellier's E-candidat (Base Rouge) application starting in early April.

Registration Procedures
Once your application has been reviewed, if you receive a positive decision, you can move on to the next step: registration.
Visit our website, click on the "Apply to IPAG" tab, then "Registration After Applying to IPAG"
Target Audience
Any person who meets the eligibility requirements to register for the entrance exam for an IRA (Bastia, Lille, Metz, Lyon, Nantes), whether through the external, internal, or third-track exam (the exams are identical).
Tuition Fees
Students: 400 euros
In addition to that, you'll need to add the CVEC and tuition fees.
Returning to school(public servant, employee, person undergoing career transition, or job seeker): 480 euros (730 euros if the training is covered)

If you are a scholarship recipient or a job seeker, there is a special program available to you:the IRA Talent Prep Class

Mandatory Prerequisites
Meet the regulatory requirements for registration in the competitive examination (see the IRA website).
Expected Results
Passing the IRA exam opens the door to a management position in three professional fields:
- The central government: Ministries, the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations…
- State Territorial Administration: Decentralized Services in Regions and Departments…
- School and university administration: Universities, CROUS, local public educational institutions, regional education offices…
