Presentation

Social security law is now a fundamental pillar of labor law. Omnipresent in the lives of both businesses and individuals, it requires specific training, given its technical nature and increasingly broad scope of application.

In a constantly changing economic and social context, social protection mechanisms are increasingly being used as tools for human resources management, securing career paths, and risk management.

Two protection systems coexist and complement each other:

The legal and mandatory system, structured around social security, is based on a complex architecture. Understanding it requires mastery of multiple systems (general, special, autonomous), which are currently undergoing profound reforms. Legislative and jurisprudential developments in the areas of occupational risks, URSSAF (social security contributions collection agency) inspections, and social litigation require regular updating of knowledge.

In addition to this foundation, there is a supplementary social protection system developed on the initiative of companies. This system draws on rules from labor law, social protection law, and insurance law. The gradual withdrawal of the state and the rise of collective agreements have led to an increase in the complexity of the tools available, whether in terms of provident funds, supplementary pensions, or health coverage.

In light of these challenges, the University Diploma in Social Protection Law and Practice offers specialized training focused on the direct application of legal knowledge. It provides students with a comprehensive and strategic overview of social protection, combining legal frameworks, operational issues, and an interdisciplinary approach.
