Objectives
Today, wealth management is a professional activity in its own right. The main aim of this diploma is to provide training in asset management law, i.e. specialized legal training that enables students to acquire and deepen their understanding of the legal techniques involved in asset management.
To achieve this, the course devotes an essential part of its curriculum to legal management techniques, derived not only from civil law (property law, securities law, family law), but also from business law (group law, financial law) (Module 1). These courses are complemented by a study of tax techniques for wealth management (module 2), as well as fundamental notions of accounting, financial analysis and management (module 3).
The DU is primarily aimed at law students who have already received a basic legal education (minimum Bachelor's degree 3). In addition, the DU can be a useful complement to the training of students enrolled in certain Masters II programs: notarial law, DJCE, construction law in particular. To enable these students to follow the courses effectively, the courses will be grouped together over 3 weeks in June of the academic year.
