Overview
This course is designed to provide an understanding of the maritime, coastal, and port environments from a legal perspective.
It is offered remotely through online content (typed, audio, or video lectures) to allow students and professionals to balance their schedules with the coursework for this degree program.
Objectives
The degree program is designed to supplement general education with in-depth legal knowledge of the maritime and coastal sectors, including their operation and use.
Expertise and Skills
The training provides an understanding of the legal instruments governing the use and exploitation of public land; familiarizes participants with the urban planning regulations specific to coastal construction; examines the regulations governing the exploitation of various resources; and helps participants identify and prevent risks associated with the sea.
