Presentation
- 80 hours of training in the four skills of legal English

Objectives
This course aims to enable students to deepen their knowledge of Anglo-Saxon law and to improve their language skills in legal English in order to apply for a Master 2 degree and for positions of responsibility.
It also serves as an intensive preparation for the TOLES (Test Of Legal English Skills) for which the University of Montpellier is an examination center.
This diploma and this certification aim to offer students increased opportunities to work in French and international law firms interested in this opening to Anglo-Saxon legal culture. Successful completion of this certification attests to a level of B2 or C1 (Council of Europe)
The course benefits from the collaboration of English-speaking academics and law professionals, who teach all their courses in English.

Organization
Knowledge control
Each skill taught in a module is the subject of a separate 20-point test. The diploma is awarded to students with an average of 50/100.
Program
- 5 modules of 16 hours each spread over the month of May: each module is subject to an evaluation during or at the end of the module.
- Creation in 2020 of a second group during the month of June.
Admission
Conditions of access
The candidate must have at least one year of Law (L1)
Priority is given to Master 1, then successively to previous years, L3 and L2.
Candidates are selected on the basis of their application with CV and letter in English, and on the basis of an interview in English (non-legal)

Tuition fees
320 euros for regularly enrolled students, 1000 euros for professionals in continuing education.

A level B2 (CERL) in English for international communication

Students who have passed the TOLES certification will have much better applications to the various LLMs at Anglo-Saxon universities.
