Presentation
This training course is specifically aimed at professionals in the social and medical-social sector who are confronted with issues related to drug use among adolescents, alcohol consumption in our society, and the prevention of harmful use and addiction.
Designed with a professional and operational objective in mind, it aims to use an understanding of these behaviors and phenomena to enable the implementation of prevention, care, and support measures for people in difficulty.
The advantages of the training program
Training from November to March (every other year). Next session in 2025–2026.
Objectives
The aim of the DU year is to provide an opportunity to reflect on the various conceptual tools and issues that need to be understood when dealing with addictive disorders. It provides a body of fundamental knowledge and aims to improve understanding of the importance of networks and the place and role of each healthcare professional within them. It provides training tailored to the approach and treatment of the various medical, psychological, and social aspects of addiction.

Admission
Admission requirements
Two years of higher education or professional experience validated by the selection committee.
Target audience
Nurses, social workers, psychologists, educators, teachers, and more generally, personnel involved in health, social, or educational services concerned with addiction issues (alcoholism, drug addiction).
