Overview
- 80 hours of training in the four skills of legal English (4 weeks)
- A maximum of 25 candidates are selected to ensure educational effectiveness.

Objectives
The goal of this program is to enable students to deepen their knowledge of Anglo-Saxon law and refine their language skills in legal English so they can apply for a Master 2 program and positions of responsibility.
It also serves as intensive preparation for the TOLES (Test of Legal English Skills), for which the University of Montpellier is an exam center.
This degree and certification aim to provide students with greater opportunities to work in French and international law firms interested in this exposure to Anglo-Saxon legal culture. Successful completion of this certification attests to a B2 or C1 level (Council of Europe)
The program benefits from the collaboration of English-speaking academics and legal professionals, who deliver all instruction in English.

Organization
Knowledge Assessment
Each skill taught in a module is assessed in a separate exam worth 20 points. The diploma is awarded to students who achieve an average of 50/100.
Program
- 5 modules, each lasting 16 hours, spread out over the month of May: each module is assessed either during or at the end of the module.
Admission
Admission Requirements
The applicant must have completed at least one year of law school (L1)
Priority is given to first-year Master's students, followed by students in earlier years, third-year undergraduates, and second-year undergraduates.
Candidates are selected based on their application materials, which include a resume and a cover letter in English.

Tuition Fees
- 360 € for students
- €250 in scholarships
- €1,000 for professionals in continuing education.
Mandatory Prerequisites
A B2 level (CEFR) in English for international communication
Recommended Prerequisites
Applicants must have a basic understanding of law.

Students who have passed the TOLES certification will have much stronger applications for various LLM programs at Anglo-Saxon universities.
Employment Placement
Proficiency in legal and judicial terminology is highly sought after by both law firms and notaries.
